We now have a client waiting list===UGH! That was one of the reasons we started our program in this community.Other programs were a great distance away and also had waiting lists. There is such a great need for these services in our community. If YOU have some time to give 1 Saturday a month or 2====our kids would love to show you how it's done. They thrive on the interaction with the Volunteers and often develop strong connections to those helping them achieve their goals. The team of Horse Leader and Sidewalkers are a key part of the students success. Horse Leaders handle the horse and it's movement during the lesson. Sidewalkers assist the student with balance while riding and help the child to complete tasks requested from the instructor. Horse leaders and sidewalkers often trade positions. We welcome you to come visit any Saturday and just observe and see if what we do could be a joy in your life because the dedicated few volunteers we have now are certainly a JOY in the lives of our students.
